Is New England even playing in this game? I expected this to be essentially a cup-match-level battle. This could easily be 4-0 Crew at this point, as the Revolution have done next to nothing for 45 minutes. In addition to their single pathetic shot, I estimate 8 or 9 successful passes. In real football, that’s bad.
The performance of Schelotto thus far further supports my feeling that he is the most significant player in the MLS. More on that later.

I was surprised to see the Crew up 2-0 at the half. Especially since Hejduk is in Cuba with the US Men’s Team.
