WHAT THE? is my weekly Premiership review column where I write about the crap I found interesting in the latest round of Prem games. This is about me, not you, so I don’t want to hear you bloody whine about it.
- Manchester United and Tottenham were playing for the Carling Cup on Sunday and did not play any league matches.
- Liverpool continue to throw their season out the window with a 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough. This loss pushes the Anfield group to third on the Prem table.
- Chelsea beat Wigan 2-1 to jump to second on the table. Chelsea are tied with Liverpool on points but have a better goal differential.
- Fulham held Arsenal to a scoreless draw. Arsenal are running out of time to get the last Champions League spot.
- Aston Villa was also held to a 2-2 draw against Stoke.
