WHAT THE? is my weekly Premiership review column where I write about the crap I found interesting in the latest round of Prem games. This is about me, not you, so I don’t want to hear you bloody whine about it.
- Aston Villa has taken a step backwards toward their goal of Champions League fooball with a 2-0 loss to Manchester City.
- Arsenal on the other hand added pressure to Villa with a 3-1 win against West Brom. Arsenal are only 3 points behind Villa for the 4th spot on the table.
- Liverpool has continued the pressure on the top two teams with a 2-0 win against Sunderland.
- Chelsea held the 2nd position with a 1-0 win against Portsmouth. Chelsea is tied with Liverpool at 58 points but holds 2nd place on goal differential.
- Tottenham continue to climb up the table with a 4-0 pounding of Middlesbrough.
- Manchester United continues to lead with Prem with a 2-1 win against Newcastle. Manchester U has a 7 point lead with a game in hand.
